For a week after Christmas 2002, we were guests of our dear friend Anita on the beautiful island of Puerto Rico.  We travelled as well to the small island of Vieques, well known as a  munitions test site, and for the ongoing resistance of the Puerto Rican people (and many allies all over the world) to continued use of the island by the US military.  Now that it appears the resistance has triumphed, and the last bombing run has been made on Vieques, we are thrilled to have had the opportunity to personally experience the beauty of the island, and to share it here with our friends.
